Oprah Winfrey has found success in everything she has ever done, she is a billionaire, a self made one at that, in itself that would be a story, you probably find that most of the members in that club are OLD MONEY type, you know the ones with the II or III after their names.

Just guessing, I don't know anyone from that club, I'm poor and latino.

Just saying.

Ms. Winfrey should make it public that she wants to take up golf and belong to the Augusta National Golf Club, she could be the first woman to become a member of this boys only club.

It would certainly add a great chapter to Ms. Winfrey life story.

There are lots of posts and blogs out there criticising the policies at Augusta but you don't hear much about the PGA and their responsibility to make sure their events are not offensive to anyone.

Is this a civil rights matter, well problably not, Augusta is a private club, they should be able to have whom ever they want around their facility, fair enough, but the PGA is a big time sport and as all professional sports they should be sensitive to sponsors.

Can we agree on that.

This situation can be easily solved by sponsors talking to to the PGA and making it clear to them that 50 % of the population are female and work, pay bills, support families and most importantly they buy stuff, maybe from some of SPONSORS that support the PGA.

So don't blame WOMEN GATE on Augusta National Golf Club, they know where they stand, I'll have to say the PGA and it's sponsors are not getting it, this policy is not acceptable to most females so maybe the PGA should go play somewhere else or the sponsors should find another event.

The PGA and the sponsors should not pretend they can't do anything about this, they can and they should.

And lets all hope Oprah Winfrey can join the club.
