MMA  > General MMA  > Incredible Paul Harris Needs to clear the air!
April 14, 2012, 01:41 AM
There is a debate going on amongst FN on whether or no the Incredible Palhares is Roni or not. So here I am, asking IPH to clear the air and tell us who he really is.

Do it IPH. Do it!!!!

April 14, 2012  11:38 PM ET

I sent Roni a message on Facebook about this, he says that it isn't him.

He did add "tell them thanks for thinking of me!".

I was thinking the same thing. Only Roni would argue with me for weeks about Fedor's legacy.

Didnt you guys usually argue about everything? I think I remember it getting to the point where it seemed like you guys would disagree with eachother simply on principle

Principle? What do you mean?

Like u guys would disagree simply for the sake of it and to argue not because you actually disagreed. Unless I'm misremembering it seemed like everytime either one of u started a thread it would just lead to a long back and forth without anyone making any ground.

Well its more of a matter of different opinion. In sports your never going to meet eye to eye with everyone so you chose and pick your debates. When work is slow a good back and forth debate makes time go by fast.

I remember times I'd hop on here before leaving for work and a thread would have a dozen comments and then just 4-5 hours later when bored at work I would check and the same thread would have 80 comments almost all just the 2 of you lol

Do you get on other threads?? I usually chat more on the nba threads and we get into the thousands. The MMA thread needs more people commenting

I only check the other ones very rarely if I want to see if anyone is discussing something that involves a team I follow. But the Niner one is basically just Narrator talking to himself and no one ever talks Warriors (there isn't ever anything to discuss with then anyways). For the main sports I talk plenty with my friends and coworkers but for mma my brother is the only one who's knowledgeable and interested enough to really talk with me about it, so for more mma talk I will come to these threads and see what people say/think

sorry I've been traveling and so didn't log for long.

but I have to disagree on this.

We can disagree if you like someone or not.
Like many hate LeBron or love him.
But most would not debate is he was talented or not.

You would go on that path (like you do with Fedor or AA), and i find it absolutely dumb.
I could care less if you like them or not. But to say they are bums shows you have no clue about the sport.

These comments makes me wonder if you are really a sports fan or someone trying really hard to blend in with the group. You are contradicting yourself. Its the abc of sports that you lack in. Yes there are bums in sport especially in mma. My definition of a bum can be different from another sports fan. To me AA is a bums cause he has never beaten any high credible fighter to be consider a great fighters in the sport. Tim was decent but compared to Fedor yes he was a bum only the fact that Fedor had beaten better fighters in the past.

You are what we call a bias fan and dont want to accept the truth about your favorite fighter. They are plenty of you out there and thats okay cause a causal fan follows certain teams and players. I tend to follow the sport and not just stick to one. Once you come to realize and accept it then you'll have less argument and more debates.
