NFL  > General NFL  > Tony Sparano and Rex Ryan are blowing smoke up our nose
May 5, 2012, 12:47 AM
Tony Sparano's quote: "Fundamentally, Tim has gotten much better, You could see the amount of time he spent at it ... He's completely different now than he was when he came out of college"

I know most of you are laughing.

Here is a quote from the head Jester on the Jets roster. Rex Ryan's quote after the workout:

"He's got size, he's got speed and he can throw the football"

I'm still laughing, are you.

Those sound like - talking points- from a front office who needs to maximize the publicity Tebow can bring them.

I don't believe that a football coach with the heritage that Ryan has really believes Tim Tebow can throw a football.

Not buying that one.

Any idiot can see that this guy is not a passer, there is no crime in that so please I don't want to hear you say that I'm just a hater.

I don't hate the guy but he is as much of an NFL QB as I'm an award winning sports writer, actually I have a better chance at winning an award than he does being a great NFL QB.

Tim Tebow will be summoned as the starting QB by the Jets cheering crowds much like in the days of the Gladiators.

Remember Denver. Of course you do.

As always this is a fans opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thank God for that.

Enough said.

I remember them making the playoffs. How did the Jets do with Sanchez.

How much would it really hurt to replace a struggling Sanchez with Tim Tebow? I mean, really? Sanchez is awful.

Well, if anybody knows about blowing smoke.....
Enough said.
