What about it folks?

Lavar "Big" Johnson vs Stefan Struve

Should have been Hunt KO'ing Struve, but I see the big Dutchman jabbing Lavar to death, and finishing with a submission.


Shane Del Rosario vs Stipe Miocic

I think that Del Rosario wins this battle of the prospects, but wouldn't be shocked if Stipe is good enough to win. Can't wait to see it either way, I just hope it isn't a sloppy decision that lowers both of their stocks.


Roy Nelson vs Dave Herman

Great fight here. Roy is better on the ground but I might give Pee Wee the edge standing up. I think Roy will win though, hopefully by submission.


Cain Valesquez vs Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva

This is a showcase fight for Cain for sure, but Bigfoot has a way of turning those around for his own good. Cain is a big favorite, but the Big man has run over AA and Ground and Pounded arguably the greatest ever. Cain wins in my opinion though.

Junior "Cigano" Dos Santos(C) vs Frank Mir

Heavyweight title fight: Cigano has the power in his hands, and Mir has a tendency to wilt under fire. Mir has great submissions though, but he probably doesn't have the takedowns to get it there. His hands aren't horrible either, so this is still a great fight. Cigano gets the KO early in the first though.

I think that Cigano is truly a bad match-up for Mir.

Cigano's hands are better, Mir doesn't have great takedowns and, more likely than not, JDS should have enough BJJ skills to avoid most submissions.

As much as I wish it wasn't so, I gotta agree. Mir is goin for the L. If he makes it outta the 1st round, I'll call it a victory. I'm pulling for a Struve sub though. He seems to pull em out at the most crucial times.

I agree. Mayhem NEEDS this win. I think Joe Silva felt bad for him and went through his little black book looking for fighters who are easy to choke and Dolloway popped up first. Tap or Nap C.B. lol.

Cain should be able to trash Bigfoot.

Big Country went the distance with JDS and Werdum (despite eating a ton of shots). I don't see him having much trouble with Peewee.

Stipe/Del Rosario... That's a pick 'em in my mind.

Struve/Lavar... Tough call. If Struve gets to the 2nd round, I think the fight is his. But if Lavar storms in early with a barrage of punches, Struve could be in La-la land again.

Wow...and Mike Brown, too. Goes from headlining events 2 years ago (Faber, Aldo etc) down to obscurity on the Facebook prelim opening fight.

I'm not so sure about that. CB is a tough wrestler and Ludwig is an awesome striker, which is Hardy's only real strength.

I like Mayhem in his fight, but I am actually favoring "Bang" over Hardy slightly.

any chance they are trying to use those names to get more people to watch the prelims? basically being a draw to facebook and justify the business arrangement between UFC and facebook....

Maybe but I don't think they're having any problems getting people to watch the Facebook fights. Fuel TV still isn't available to a lot of areas, including mine so the Facebook fights are the only prelims I get to watch. I'd assume there are others in the same boat.

just like Big Nog should have been able to avoid .
mirs big problem (just like everyone else who has tried) will be the take down that nobody has gotten on JDS

Fuel TV is not available in canada which seems to make a difference
