I thought Brandao would finish him fast enough that cardio wouldn't matter and yes, Dolloway came away looking WORSE as a fighter due to laying on an injured fighter for 3 rds and still not coming close to a finish. I hate that point fighting crap. Good job on the win btw.
Update on the Lesnar thing: Apparently he headlined a WWE PPV that did not live up to expectations and is looking to come back for another HW run. At least thats what I'm reading online.
QUOTE(#4):
Lesnar coming back? Wow. He won't be a top 5 guy, but he could be somewhere in the 7-10 range.
I can see that I guess but I wonder how his ego will handle that. If you look at his career, he has consistently shown that if he isn't the absolute best at something, he will lose interest and move on. WWE the first time- wasn't the main guy anymore so decided to try NFL. He tried out and could only make the practice squad so he went to fighting. Loses his belt and goes back to wrestling. His ppv doesn't sell as well so now he's back at the UFC's door?? This guy cannot handle being second best so I wonder how much he'll embace the gatekeeper role that we all see being his spot.
We can throw out the couture win. He outweighed Randy by 70-80 lbs on fight night. If Randy was a little bigger, that fight ends completely differently. You're right, he did own Mir the 2nd time but Carwin had him beat until he gassed. You or I could've beaten Carwin in the 2nd round of that fight. His arms were dead and he couldn't hit back. All in all, Lesnar was a middle of the road HW that made the most of his fame. More power to him.

Lesnar vs Nelson. Do it!
Id really like this one
QUOTE(#18):
Mayhem was on the Ariel Helwani show today and basically said the backstage incident was him wearing a mask on his way out to the cage and Burt Watson starting yelling at him to take it off.He said he was retiring from MMA.Mayhem also sounded off, like he wasn't in a good place. Hope he bounces back from this. DW obviously didn't like the guy. I mean he loses a fight with an injured knee and they cut him. Dana had it in for the guy.
As much as I think that MMA needed a guy like Dana, to kinda bully his way to the top and once there, make the needed changes... I also think he abuses his position sometimes. Guys like Mayhem and Big Country are not the company robots and don't say the cliche lines or look how Dana wants them to look so they are treated differently as a result. If the gas mask was truly the tipping point that got him cut, his days were numbered anyway. Here's hoping Mayhem lands on his feet after this. He's only 31 and has some fights left in him.

To Dana, Mayhem was like Kimbo....a guy with more internet fame then he deserved....so Dana made an example of him, gave him a shot so he'd lose against a real fighter and then cut him once his "fame" is extinguished....now, will anyone care all that much about Kimbo in a backyard brawl? NO. Will people care about Mayhem's TV show...NO!
