Since the Gumps bounced UF out of the SEC tourney, I'll follow that old perverse logic of predicting that the team that put my team out will be the one to go all the way, so GirlGumps it is.

USF bumped UF out of the NCAA tourney. Now the Bulls would be a bold pick.

In or out of the WCWS, Tim Walton should be Coach of the Year. At that point of the season, most coaches by far would have settled for a solution that kept those 3 players in the lineup. Brass cajones.

Did anyone ever tweet or otherwise disclose what happened between Coyle and the Fagan sisters?

Did you see the Super Regionals against UGA? What's with the blue trim on the Lady Vols' uniforms? Conflicted Gator Haters? :)

Powder blue, like Saban's leisure suit. I don't care for it. Gimme orange & white, and if you need a boarder contrast to make the numbers stand out, go with thin black outline.

First 2 games in the books; according to the seedings. Congrats to OU and Cal. Should make for a good match tomorrow night.

As expected, 2 good games. Congrats to OU and Bama getting Saturday off.

Winner of USF/LSU plays ASU. Survivor plays OU on Sunday.
Winner of UTk/Oregon plays Cal. Survivor plays Bama on Sunday.

Missed the OU game babysitting the two boys. they finally went to sleep (youngest in my lap) so got to watch the Bama - ASU game,,it was a barnburner...

After today's elimination games, we're down to the top 4 seeds:
Sunday's games --
ASU vs OU. ASU must win twice.
Cal vs Bama. Cal must win twice.

Thanks....was watching that and Miss State on ESPN3 with that split screen. Never tried that before....really kind of neat.

Congrats also to Bama. They beat #1 Cal to get in the finals with OU. Should be an excellent series.

Yes....West Coast has been dominate in Women's FastPitch Softball forever. Lately (last 10-15 years) the teams from Florida have started to get stronger and now teams along the Gulf Coast are picking up.

Aside from that, there have always been some teams in the interior (Michigan jumps out at me for some reason) who popup from time to time.

And I am talking Women's/Girls FastPitch at a local level...not College where they draw from all over and can stock their teams with girls from California, Washington, Florida, etc

OU wins first game of finals, 4-1. Good game.
