I think this bullpen has been the biggest letdown on this team this year. Salas was so bad they sent him packing, Romero too. The only lefty Rzep has been awful, McLellan was horrible and then got hurt, even Motte has been up and down. Boggs is the only one that has been good all year.

Bullpen needs to be better if the Cards are going to win the Cental.

I agree that the bullpen has been weak. Boggs was the one guy I was ready to write off in the off-season, and he's been solid.

Mozeliak really needs to add a lefty to the mix, especially if Scrabble continues to struggle. I think there is depth to make a deal, if we can ever get half the roster off the DL.
