Okay, apologies all around for screwing the pooch the last (x2 actually) time, but my fathers illness took some time away, but things (time mostly) are better, and I have lot's of free time for here. So let's have some friendship, and good conversation. Keep it filthy as always! lol

Sorry about your Dad. Let's see, last I heard you were suffering from back pain, killing dragons in your basement and buying shares in the Packers. I was still practicing learning to walk again and glad to be home.

Fast forward---we have a treadmill on the screenporch for my "walkies", I still miss all the people I met while "not at home" (except for Linda, she was card carrying taker not a giver) and the Mets are in second place. (Can someone please get rid of the Nationals? Please?

Tiger Woods seems to think he's still a golf protege but his skills are more like mediocre. He's just plain ordinary now. He needs to face it. He's no golf powerhouse anymore. Probably not getting the superior nookie he used to get either. Oops, did I say that out loud?

Wes Welker is getting married on Friday to Miss Hooters International. See what happens when you grow a 'stache?

One more thing, The Judge better hold Sandusky over for sentencing or good ole Jer will try to off himself before sentence can be handed down. Probably kill Dottie too.

Well, those are my opinions and you're welcome to them. Ta ta! :D

Thanks for starting the group page again, WDT, and thanks for the invite.

Random Sports thoughts:

I'm not a LeBron hater per se, but I still wish they hadn't won a title. Something about the way they did the whole "Decision" thing still seems wrong. I also can't stand Pat Riley, so maybe that is it...lol

I agree with Lady's comment above about Sandusky.......

Paul Konerko is the most underrated player in baseball. When people talk first base, you always hear Albert, Prince, Cabrera, Votto, A-Gon, etc.......but Konerko quietly puts up numbers every year that are in the same range as the others, but gets little credit for it.

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the sudden death of Cardinal pitcher Darryl Kile. It's stunning to me that it has been ten years. That was such a shock that summer day in Chicago.

It's been hard to tell you that we were with you all the way during your troubles. I'm glad you made it thorough and am glad to have you back on site. I'm looking forward to spirited discussions during Brewers/Tigers and Badgers/Wolverines games.

Hope your feeling well, and YES...my back is still as it was....a pain in the back! LOL Your right, Tiger is no more for the time being. How do you like the Mets AND the Patriots? Why not the Giants or the Jets? Just curious.

Ditto all around (Lazy mans approach to covering the spread of the message!, HA!) Hey, what's your fav football team? Rams?

Yep, me too! I hope FlaDomer comes back, could be fun having a Notre Dame guy here. I tried getting ahold of him, but I'm still waiting. He might have gone "Facebook" on us!

You know how some folks think everyone in the family should root for the same team? Something about "heritage" or "family loyalty". Poppycock, I say. I liked the Packers when they were Lombardi and Starr, I liked the Jets because of 'Broadway' Joe, but my heart went 'boom' when I saw the Pats. Red Sox suck and Yankees b|ow so for me it's the Mets for better or worse. Just wish the Nationals would lie down at some point after the All Star game. LOL

No. I'm somewhat partial to the Rams since they are here, but I remain a long suffering Cardinal fan.

First you have the "Feces" of Facebook, and then comes along the "Twits" of Twitter....

Phoenix Cardinals, or the St. Louis Cardinals of old? LOL, okay, I'll put you down for the St. Louis Rams for starters.

That's funny, Lady. That's what happened to me. My oldest brother used to threaten us if we didn't root for the Cowboys back in the 70s since that's where he was born. Now, he makes his family all wear Packers attire for family photos.

I've been trying to root for the Eagles since I established my PA residency but they don't make it easy on me.

No way should family members all root for the same team. My wife is a lifelong Broncos fan and I'm a lifelong Browns fan. As an example.

Okay, I'll add the Browns to the group "TAG" then. Thanx.
