NBA  > General NBA  > LeBron James: One down and six to go to pass MJ.....give up now Mr. James
June 22, 2012, 09:50 AM
One championship every nine seasons, I'm no math genius but if you take that number and multiply it by six you get 54 years, that would make Lebron 70 something years old when he passes MJ'S SIX rings.

For those of you who are comparing LJ to MJ I have a little bit of disappointing news for you..... HE IS NO MJ folks so quit trying to make stuff up.

Enjoy your one win because it is probably the only one you going to get.

Enough said.

Thanks for the strupido comment, we all can't be a genius like you....but let me just say your right LJ is no MJ...so I see maybe one more in his future, 10 years years from now as a role player in someones bench...lol

Lebron was up late last night downing a $75,000 bottle of champagne.
Did you enjoy your cherry coke?

June 22, 2012  10:57 PM ET

I did.....ice tea is just fine...lots of folks hurting out there trying to make a living and he is bathing in 75,000 dollars of grape juice....incredible...

I see someone really enjoyed Thursday night's game.

Your logic is flawed...

Robert Horry has seven rings, and started for all seven rings.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has six rings...all time leading scorer in NBA history..

Now if you are basing it on talent...then that is where the comparisons between Jordan and James should be...I am taking Lebron if that is the criteria...though Jordan will average about 4 points a game more than LeBron...James gives you extra possessions with rebounds and makes the games simpler with assists...and that is worth 4 or 5 points.

Now if you have eyes, you would see the same thing.

MJ missed more game winning shots that he made...That was from his mouth.
MJ always had a better team & Coach to play with...

LJ is the most talented player to ever play basketball in the NBA...PERIOD

Wilt Chamberlain is the greatest player ever 30.1 ppg 22.9 rpg...it ain't even close.

Jordan got his first title at 28yrs of age and in his 7th season. He had 1 finals appearance, 2 league MVP's and 1 finals MVP. He also had 9 series wins and a .551 win % in the playoffs.

LeBron got his at 27 and his 9th season. This is his 3rd finals appearance, 3rd league MVP and 1st finals MVP. He has won 15 series and has a .625 win %.

The numbers do not lie, LeBron is in FANTASTIC shape to win many more titles during his career.

Considering that Miami has its ENTIRE team coming back and the ability to add more, he could win 2 or 3 more in the next few years.
