I'm trying hard here.. REALLY hard to like world soccer, but when I constantly see the FAKE play, and the B.S. "OFFSIDE" calls (why is this rule necessary? I'm mean seriously!) by the "I need my 1 minute of fame" refs/linesmen (?), I just give up at times.

Watched the Spain vs. France quarters match, and after Spain scored in the 19th minute (up until the last cheap penalty kick by Spain in the 91st) the fans and viewers were treated to 70 minutes of Spain's "keep away", and the "frogs" bouncing around the "pitch" like idiots.

World soccer can IMPROVE it's status by simply doing one of several things (cut out the FAKE injury cheating/scam with replay yellow cards), most notably getting rid of "offside" calls. If an opposing player gets loose on the PITCH, and the other team fails to cover him, leaving him alone against the goalie, then why penalize him for being OPEN?!
Don't get.....next stop, patience before the next match.

Any takers? Remember, it's just an OPINION...nothing more.

they do give yellow cards for "divers" but its often very difficult to police that

as for offsides, its in every sport and makes it alot better due to the lack of cherry picking in soccer
