The Lakers have had a stranglehold on the entire area for over a decade. Forget about divisions, I'm talking about teams on the coast. There has been no rivalry since the Kings or Blazers of early 2000's. You would have to go to Texas to find a team that has even come close to what they have done, and in that case we are talking about different oceans. Do the Clippers have what it takes to dethrown the Lakers in the area?

I don't think any other team is even close, especially since the Sonics are gone and forgotten about.
