NBA  > General NBA  > Carmelo Anthony calls Lin's contract "ridiculous" .....11 pm est. USA Today : Lin gone!
July 17, 2012, 11:08 PM
Here is his quote:

"It's up to the organization to say they want to match that ridiculous contract that's out there,''

Well, I guess Melo and some of his buddy's are the only ones deserving of making money in the NBA.

Let me ask you folks , how many championships does Melo have?

Just saying.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I have NEVER heard a player of Melo's stature criticize a teammate for trying to negotiate for as much money as the situation allows.

There is no crime in that folks.

Of course later after he (probably) realized he put his foot in his mouth and gave us what I considered a damage control quote:

"It's up to ownership to match, not me,......I'm tired of people trying to blame me for the fact that the Knicks might not match. I want everybody to get paid if they have the opportunity."

Melo went from "ridiculous contract" to "I want everybody to get paid"...what a turn around.

Enough said.

Breaking News: Is 11 pm est and the USA Today reported 3 minutes ago Lin gone, Knicks did not match.
