Initial outlook - defense will be improved. That isn't saying much as bad as they were.

My concerns are on offense. We need a serious contribution from Murray. We only have one WR we can trust, one who I hope will have his head on right after getting away from off-field distractions, and a whole bunch of questions. We need the o-Line to gel quick.

Schedule is a tough one. Right now... I see 8-8.

"Off-field distrations" That's one way of putting it.

July 18, 2012  08:21 PM ET

Distrations / distractions, what's the difference?

July 18, 2012  08:22 PM ET

I see 9-7. But before you get excited, the Eagles and the Giants will be 10-6.

I agree but I'm more of a 7-9 guy right now. That's more due to the o-line and WR's. Ogletree? Really? That is frightening.

If the Cowboys go into the season with Ogletree as the #3 receiver, they are screwed.

GO PATRIOTS !

Big time! And even more so if Bryant is suspended and Ogletree becomes #2. I'd have to think JJ is looking at possibilities of upgrading that #3 receiver position. I heard some names thrown around last night none of which were all that exciting, One of which was Patrick Crayton. That dude torched his bridge back here..no way!

I just don't think Bryant gets suspended by the league. But he is officially on their radar.

As far as Crayton - that would be an admission (finally) that Ogletree should go. It's time to look at other options.

And some of the 'possibilities' mentioned were {cough} T.O. and Plax.

I don't think so either. I don't condone that behavior but I'd bet his crackhead mother had plenty to do with whatever went down the other day. I'd sure like to know how she got probation (which she is currently serving) for a second arrest for selling crack in '08.

I'll pretend I didn't hear that.

Training Camp can't come soon enough for Dez. Get him the hell away from that "family" of his and into a football environment.

David Moore is right - instead of suspending him from the team, suspend him from that bunch of leeches.

Agreed! I think his problems are all tied in to 'family'. They don't need to babysit him like they tried with Pacman but the team has got to figure something out. and then there's Royce West. OMG!!!

Plaxico wouldn't be bad....TO tho...no way.

Betting that when the truth comes out his mom has more to do with what went down than anything. Betting on No Suspension for DB (this year)....and I'm thinking he his trying to keep his head straight now.

Based on what everyone has heard and read it is easy to jump to conclusions but after reading the history on this 'mother' I wouldn't be so quick to make a judgment until we know a lot more.

I'm just not sure Romo is the man...too many inconsistencies for me. Aikman had some bad O-line play and still came thru....

However, did read that article that said Romo was better and more accurate than Eli...LMAO
