NFL  > Green Bay Packers  > Green Bay Packers 2012-13 Edition
July 23, 2012, 02:15 PM
Well....IT"S TIME FOR ANOTHER SEASON to begin, and with that 7 months of grinding it out. Both for the players and the fans. With first day'rs coming and the shareholders meeting looming, I just can't wait for my first trip to the stadium again, and get some Curly's in my system. So, if your a Packer fan (FRIEND or FOE, lol) let's just pray together we don't lose anyone before the preseason even starts! Knock on wood.......see you boys/girls at the place where the NFL was created, HA! lol

Do you mean lose anyone to injury..or the law? Or either?

July 23, 2012  02:18 PM ET

???I had pro offers from the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers, who were pretty hard up for linemen in those days. If I had gone into professional football the name Jerry Ford might have been a household word today.??? -President Ford

Okay, is that before your falling down became an embarrassment?

Well, actually you have a good point. If I remember right, during the sexual assault years of the 70's and 80's, the packers had their goalposts change to bedposts. Or so that's the inside joke around here.

Does Green Bay smell like rotten cheese?

LOL, aaaah, no.....more like a mill, lake/bay, and weak economy town. The brats, beer and cheese are all that we have next to the Packers. No kidding...

Agree on only the opening start is a little rough, but most around here are looking realistically at a 12-4 season. I'm actually keeping an open mind this year after observing a pathetic defense last year. The Packers need a brick wall around Rodgers just to have a good shot at a SB run.

You seem to have a low opinion of the city you live in. You would make a terrible public relations person.

"You seem", hmmm, that would be an opinion of your's and not a fact. I thought you go by facts? You also don't resort to name calling, but you are okay with dictating who would be terrible at something they never claimed to be.

Laugh a little ya troll.

Actually if you read WDT's comment you would come to the same conclusion that I did. He claims to be a fan and then downgrades his hometown.

THAT I agree with! Trolls need to lighten up around here. It's almost like they suffer from low self esteem so they make up for it by going after anyone for anything. lol

I never said GB was my home town! I was merely trying to state as a joke the only thing going during Packer season is........... ect. Nothing more. If you didn't get it, you should have asked me to clarify my point before ASSUMING anything. No biggie though.
