After more than six months of wallowing in despair due to the tragedy of the Badger's second straight Rose Bowl loss, it is time to get ready for the upcoming season. Many questions surround Bret Bielema and what should be a a very good Badger squad. Questions like, will Danny O'Brien be capable of replacing Russel Wilson? Can the Badger's make the leap from good college program to elite college program? Can Minnesota still be considered a rival when they cannot keep in state three-star recruits from decommitting?
Nothing is certain, except of course the constant over-hyping of Michigan football. With this in mind, here are 5 bold predictions for the Badger's 2012 season.

TZ man, I agree about Bielema, I liked Barry Alvarez but never cared much for Bielema.
Flashback to the 08 season. In their bowl game Wisky gets trounced by Florida State and when Bielema meets Bobby Bowden for the ceremonial and customary postgame handshake, Bielema refused the gesture to the coaching legend and acted in an unsportsmanlike manner and as Bowden is being interviewed he sorta incredulously watches Bielema huff off.
Bielema often times wears a look on his face like he just stepped in dogcrap and then bit into a wormy sour crab apple.
All that being said, I would be very surprised if Wisky does NOT represent the Leaders division in the 2012 Big Ten title game.

Who else is going to win that division? It is down to 4 teams literally: Wisky, Purdue, Illinois, and Indiana. From there it is a process of elimination.

Personally, I can't stand the college football version of REX RYAN. Just me, but I do believe at some point in time he needs to put together a string of bowl wins to survive.

Seven Big Ten players were named as candidates for the Doak Walker Award, it was announced on Thursday. Wisconsin's Montee Ball was tabbed a candidate after appearing as a finalist for the award last season, while Nebraska's Rex Burkhead was a 2011 semifinalist.

Since 1981, the Davey O'Brien Award has been presented annually to the nation's most outstanding quarterback. Six players from Big Ten institutions have received the O'Brien Award--Penn State's Todd Blackledge in 1982, Iowa's Chuck Long in 1985, Penn State's Kerry Collins in 1994, Nebraska's Eric Crouch in 2001, Iowa's Brad Banks in 2002 and Ohio State's Troy Smith in 2006.

I agree the conference has changed from it's glory days, but other schools from other conferences have since caught up and passed this one. It was bound to happen. Hey Wisky D&T, thanks for doing this thread, the Big Ten is a major player with major interest and that has never been in doubt.
As far as 'TRUTH3.0' being a troll, I don't think that's the case at all. I think he's just keeping it lively and spirited and just... stretching the 'truth'!
After all, even with PSU's troubles, the Big Ten still has five teams (Wisky, Huskers, Mich., Mich. St., Buckeyes) that should or at least could all finish in the top 25 this year.
