Sucks that he is such a wasted talent. If he was motivated and focused he would be the 155 and 170 champ, I said it!
BJ is DONE....no chance against any decent WW, and no chance against Bendo at LW....

on the downward slide of his career, even with more effort he's only going to get worse....while the contenders in those divisions are going to keep getting better...

Not sure about that. He's only what, 32 or 33? Maybe he should start up TRT like everyone else.

Correction: He beat Fitch.
I love how in our sport you can lay in guard and land meaningless punches for 4 minutes and get a 10-8, but Shogun can have mount and banging away for 4 minutes and he gets a 10-9. And Wand gets no 10-8 for what should have been a stoppage against Franklin.
He can win the WW title, if GSP goes up to 185. He can beat Diaz, he did beat him soundly in the first round. He beat Fitch, he could beat Kos, he would beat Hendricks.
The fact remains that he is one of the most skilled and physically gifted boxers in MMA history, and might have the best BJJ of anyone in MMA. Add in his otherworldly take down defense and he could be the best fighter in the world.
BTW Jim; Jon Fitch is a huge welterweight, who cuts from at least 190 to 170. BJ weighed in at 169, didn't cut any weight. So we have a 20+ pound weight difference. How did BJ not get straight run over?
If BJ Hits the TRT he will get another 10 years in mma, AND another shot at GSP, and will beat him!

LOL. Not even TRT would help BJ win against GSP.
QUOTE(#16):
Actually Fitch went Vegan before that fight, and was walking around at 175-180 right before that fight. Nice attempt though. Wrong again.
That is what Kenflo said, but I'm not buying it. Never heard it from anywhere else but him. No way he was walking at 176, at least not by fight time. I heard pre fight interviews and he never mentioned being that light.
OK then, Mr. "Nice Try": How about Matt Hughes? BJ beat him twice, and Matt is a notorious weight cutter. Did he become balemic (know that isn't spelled right, too lazy to look it up) and walk around at 155, drinking water before getting on the scales to make 170? I think not.

BJ arguably won their first fight.
