With the addition of Ishiro Suzuki, the Yankees were in a skid probably due to team chemistry. Looks like they are still trying to figure out where to put Ichiro in their lineup.

Ichiro was great when he was a lead off hitter with the Mariners but I don't think it's going to work with the Yankees. They've lost a couple of 1 run games with him in the lead off spot.

I think Jeter is better suited for the lead off spot. But who knows maybe they have other plans.

Actually my take on this is why fix something that's not broke. The Yankees were doing well without Ichiro. Let's see what happens.
