NFL  > Dallas Cowboys  > of grave concern

The Cowboys have brought in three offensive linemen from last year???s team for workouts today: Montrae Holland, Derrick Dockery and Daniel Loper. The move was made because four guards are out with injuries, including two on the PUP list (Mackenzy Bernadeau, Kevin Kowalski).

This won't scare any defense that's for sure!

So much for rebuilding the Offensive line...

and you know there won't be anything of worthwhile talent to pick from when cuts are made. nobody releases good o-line players.

What do ya'll expect from someone who still lives in the "gloryhole" years?...........hahahaha

Lawdy, just when I thought JJ had finally slowed his mouth down, he says that^^

I thought that those moves were kinda "iffy", anyway. We'll see.

The line didn't seem to bother Murray too much, last year...but lets hope (for 9's sake) our QB's backs will show up - in pass protection - a little better, this year.

I would take a big season by Murray as a good way to help pass protect. Based on what I read from training camp, Murray is committing to blocking in a big way. He and Sean Lee are having their own private battles on the field (not off the field - unlike the J-E-T-S).

Murray needs a huge season to take a lot of pressure off the o-line and Romo. I don't assume Felix Jones will be the backup tho.

Me either... although Tanner is hurt (again).

At least RB's are easier find on the cut list than o-linemen. If there are o-linemen that get cut you are better off shopping at Wal-Mart or Dollar General. LOL.

Barring an injury situation (which we all know is no large reach when dealing with #28), Tanner has no shot of supplanting Jones (especially from the tub).

I say that with more conviction than I feel.

However, I think Jerry (and to a lesser extent, Jason) really want to see those two guys (Murray/Jones) healthy, and on the field together (same games, anyway) for some stretch, at least once, before we say goodbye to Felix.

You have to admit...the potential (a Dallas Cowboy dirty word) there, is pretty substantial for a gameplan...especially when dealing with a thin depth chart at the other "weapon" positions.

Yep... I just hope we stumble on another Laurant...

Gonna miss that dude.

Every time I hear a report out of Oxnard it is about the o-line. They can't even snap the ball.

I don't think a catcher's mitt would help Romo the way the snap is coming his way.

maybe they have. an undrafted rookie from Tennessee Tech - Tim Benford. Definitely a long shot.

Mackenzy Bernadeau will be working his way back in within a week. We still have another 3 weeks of pre-season, so the guy has time to work back in.

Jackson is coming in at Center...this is not a bad signing.

All in all, guys are getting nicked up, its football, it happens. I would rather it happen now than to happen just before the Season opener.

Either way, it gives us a chance to see how depth pays off...you never know when you are sitting on another Romo or Austin.

what's the over/under for shotgun snaps to sail over the qb's head tonight? As long as they do this stuff now and not at the end of camp.
