umm,.....i'm waiting for the hook to help him off stage,......no notes, and babbling,.....i think everyone's ~squirming~ in their seats listening to him,....sorry,....but his speech [s]ukks ......he obviously was not prepared, and should've seen a shrink last week.

I'm very surprised to see that Curtis Martin got in before Jerome Bettis.

Martin had (slightly) better stats but Bettis retired with that ring so I figured the HOF voters would put him in first. I think they made the right choice here. And I know Bettis won't have to wait long.

I read about the induction in today's paper.While they said he had Bill Parcells introduce him, they didn't reprint anything he said in his speech. Seems kind of telling to me. lol

Speech was all over the place....

What a horrific childhood, but to his credit he was able to turn something negative into a tremendous positive IMO, good for Martin.

Had Martin stayed a Patriot, New England would have won 3 SBs without having to use the tapes to their advantage IMO.
