I like it too GoFlo and I would be very pleased to see a non SEC title game for a change. And I don't think there's anything delusional about it, FSU is one of a handful of legit contenders this year.

Pretty sure you spell National this way - National - I could be wrong, would not be the first time.
As far as delusional I have no clue how to spell that.

sorry been a long day

Yes, and on top of a very talented roster they have a favorable schedule.

August 22, 2012  07:27 PM ET

... and I'm not sure about 'Bama, LSU, Oregon, OU or any other team ranked in the pre-season top 10. 'Bama lost a bunch of starters on defense, I don't pay attention to LSU, Oregon has that crazy running spread that I'm not convinced can win a championship, OU is alleged to have injury/attrition issues ... but it's all just media spin at this point. I think FSU has as good a chance as anyone.

I would hope so. Noles have had good recruiting classes for two years now, but the holes in the lines (both sides) have been big for so long that I don't have a lot of confidence.

Hope does spring internal though.

GO IRISH!!!!
12-0 AND TIDY BOWL BOUND!!!
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Given that there is no such thing as a National Champ, FSU still can come away with that BCS thing. UF, Clemson, and VT are the only teams that should be able to knock FSU off, but FSU has lost a fair amount of games it should have won over the last few years. My worry if I were an FSU fan would be a QB injury, they sucked in 2011 with the backup.

Oh, and both WVU and FSU caught a big break with that game going away. The fans got screwed though.

I agree Armpit. How convenient of West Virginia to drop the FSU game instead of their game against Maryland, since it was WV that backed out of that arrangement with the Noles.

And lucky for FSU to not have to play a #11 WVU.

Looks like a win/win to me...

Nah, again I look at it as a lose/lose. If there is any kind of tiebreaker at season's end I hope WVU and FSU get the short end of it.

You got to keep in mind that WVU and Maryland have a little rivalry and easier drive for the Moonshine Mafia.
