I doubt the mods are deleting folks base on one "report abuse" button, that is for offensive comments, but I see offensive comments all over FN and those people are being deleted.... something else must be going on, I'd hate to say the mods are doing their job, but.....

And all our threads will be buried in the 11th page too dig them up. and recovered.

Let's conduct an experiment. People get zapped, come back and accuse certain people of having their accounts removed. Why bother banning anyone when all they have to do is create a new email and rejoin? If the mods only respond to the report abuse button, let's see what happens when no one clicks it? As you said, offensive comments and the folks that write them do escape deletion, but many borderline-rs disappear at light speed. Let's lay off the abuse button and see how long it takes for things to disappear.

That's what I'm saying. If the mods are indeed 'lurking' for a better word, they should delete it as they see it and not depend on us to point it out.

Nothing there says it has to be reported by an FN member first.

All this paranoia about people pushing the abuse button is ridiculous. The reason people get deleted has very little to do with other FN posters and mored to do with the mods sensitivity to provocative comments.

How do we know that anyone is actually pushing the abuse button, its just seems easier to blame others when in reality maybe the mods are on patrol.......they supposedly see every comments, even in private groups........so I hear!

I was blamed a lot for reporting at least one individual and I have never pushed the abuse button since I joined over 4 1/2 year ago....

most don't think they have to be responsible to what they say because no one really know them and they can hid behind a monitor screen.....sometimes it hard to know where to post and who to talk to these days.....
