Leave it to Bones to make Sonnen look like a good guy.

Bones can say short notice all he wants, but it would have been short notice for Sonnen as well. Sonnen was training for Forrest freaking Griffin, who isn't close to being a similar fighter to Bones. Bones was training for Hendo, who is basically a wrestler with a big right hand. Sonnen is a pure wrestler with hands of cotton.

Sonnen was actually not even training. His camp for FG doesn't start for at least another month. Sonnen would have used the next week to cut weight and not even train 1 minute for this fight. Meanwhile Jones has had 3 months to train. This makes Jones look even more pathetic.

You think Machida, Shogun, Rashad or Chuck would have turned down a fight, or hell even if the roles were reversed and Bones pulled out, you think Hendo would have turned a fight down? Hell no.

I've gave Anderson Silva a lot of crap, but at least Anderson hasn't turned down any title fights that I remember.

That video you posted shows how much Sonnen loves the sport, the other fighters who prepared, and the fans. I will never say anything bad about Sonnen anymore cause he displayed how a true mma fighter steps up to the plate on call.

Machida turned down the fight.
