I hope people heed the warnings and get out of the way.
Storm chasing (I got certified in my state as a storm weather observer last year) has gotten to be big business over the past few years. The HWY's are getting congested, and down right dangerous with AMATEUR storm chasing junkies clogging the roads. Been reading stories of these fools clogging the roads and causing accidents as they try to video tape the storms. HOPEFULLY law enforcement agencies will begin to arrest these people in extreme cases, and put an end to this before it get's ugly.

I don't think this is a major issue when you consider the rest.

My bad, but then again, this storm isn't about sports either Duke. I was (lol) referring to the literal SPORT of storm chasing. Nothing more.

We've run from Katrina, Rita, Ike, had Gustave come in on top of us, before we could do anything, and a few others that I can't remember off hand. Hurricanes are no fun.
Spent 3 weeks waiting on electrical repairs after Rita, a week and a half after Ike....No fun at all.

God forbid you give a large population of people your best wishes if it has nothing to do with sports. Maybe a member of FN lives on the Gulf Coast and appreciates the well wishes. If not, sorry I wasted my time. I guess if it doesn't have anything to do with Wisconsin, you could care less.

We went 6 weeks without full electrical sevice after Fran. It would come on and you'd think it was back, but then it would go back off.
Floyd washed out all the roads when we lived in Rocky Point and we were stuck with no power or water for almost a month again. I have been there and done that and it sucks.

Hey Duke............we at least have our lives...and experience from that crap. I figure we're about due again. With Ike, my dad was on his deathbed, and had to be transferred out of here.....Not good memories at all.

Howdy Bull. I was going into my second year at UNCW for Fran and had just made contact with my dad for the first time since he bailed on us. So I guess hurricans and fathers breen bad memories.

I can understand that. Although I did have my dad until 08, my nephews and nieces might as well not have any. Dude filed for disability awhile back and is like 30k behind in child support. They started taking it out of his check, and this POS had the audacity to ask if my sister would stop them from taking it out..........
