First off, some GOOD news for a change about another HOF caliber player:

10. Defensive tackle Curley Culp and linebacker Dave Robinson take a big step toward Canton. More about the two finalists who came out of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Senior Committee deliberations later in the column -- and about the process -- but I'm told the five committee members who voted to nominate Culp and Robinson believe they have tremendous cases for election. Culp, the first true nose tackle in the NFL (he played primarily for Kansas City and Houston) and Robinson, the strongside linebacker on three Packer title teams in the '60s, will join the 15 modern-era finalists in having their cases heard in front of the 44 Hall of Fame selectors on Feb. 2 in New Orleans.

Now the BS news.

Jerry Kramer, the LEADER (along with Forrest Gregg) of the most dominate O-line ini the 60's has been getting shafted by HOF committee since his eligibility started. The Packers of the 60's were a pretty dominate, and I don't need to paste the stats to prove it, everybody knows it. For the HOF committe of voters to basically deny a member of the NFL's ALL 50th anniversary team, and THE ONLY MEMBER NOT in the HOF is a complete farce. The reason? Tooooooo many Packers in the HOF already. Can you believe it?

Let's see, the Packers have been around since 1919, and helped start the league with our buddies the Bears in 1921. You don't think the Bears and the Packers should have the most players?! SERIOUSLY? I think it's about time the HOF voters get fired, like yesterday, and find some COMMON SENSE voters soon before the most deserving O-lineman of his generation dies being ignored. Better yet, let's dig up Lombardi and clone his DNA, then in say 25 years have him blast HOF losers to their faces.

The power sweep was heart of the GB attack, and Kramer was one of the keys to making it work. Dude was a kicker, too, which is hard to picture given what today's kickers look like.

Just the other day on Between The Lines, 2 of the sportscasters remarked of the conspiracy going on with some of the voters. I agree with diversity in the HOF, but if certain teams don't have quality players to vote in, they why vote them in just to get that team represented? It's lunacy....
