I must append my picks with this qualifier. VT is freaking loaded and playing at home, but, you have to pick some long odds outcomes. The same goes for my UTK pick (It's not just homerism). UTK has talent, but will be initiating a new 3-4 defensive scheme (3rd coaching staff in 3 years - Double D is the only constant). NCSU has a fine QB and played solidly on both sides of the ball in 2011. The Wolfpack should be favored, whatever the billboard says.

Auburn lusts for revenge against Clemson and should be able to win at home. if they lose, well, let's hope the locals don't turn the fire hoses on the Clemson fans.

Things will not be normal in Ireland. We'll see you at breakfast. Van should tell us what he's wearing so that we may look for him in the stands (or as he's escorted out by the constables).
