Message Boards

It's up early this week for a couple of reasons.

1.) This week features a Wednesday MAC attack special, Kent St vs UB. Thursday night matches BYU & Boise St, and on Friday night, Baylor pays a visit to the little Sunbelt team that can - ULM. Yep. The game's listed at Malone Stadium in Monroe, LA. After two consecutive games in other states, I suspect the P40s' fans will give them a BIG welcome home.

2.) I'll be travelling to Columbus, OH on Satrathur, going by the SNL metric week. It's very likely that I won't have much access while bustling around Buckeyeville.

ESPN Game Day will be in Tallahassee on Saturday for our showdown with Clemson. What do you say, Tin? You going with Clemson...or are you ready to believe the FSU hype?

This week will be somewhat of a measuring stick for our program. Clemson handled us last year, and they come into the game ranked again this year. If we deliver a sound beating to the Tigers...THEN will you believe?

Boise - BYU on Thurs should be entertaining.

And after UL-Monroe's dismantling of it's last 2 higher-ranked opponents I suspect much of the collective cfb nation is suddenly a Warhawk's fan.
Too bad RG3 has downgraded to the NFL.

I'll jump in here. I'm not convinced Clemson is as good as their ranking. Clemson barely beat Auburn a few weeks ago. Since then, Auburn lost to Miss State and won in OT against UL-Monroe.

However, you are right. This game is a good measuring stick for FSU compared to the competition of the first three games.

While the Noles MAY BE good, and I'm not saying they are or not -- a home game against a team that didn't bust Aubie's chops (and that's a pretty sorry Aubie team) is something they should win.

I'm not trying to run down those guys. Bottom line for me is even if they torch Clemson, I still won't be completely sold. Gonna take more than that, as history has shown the last couple of "we're BACK" years.
