Now Pavlyuchenko seems like a done deal, but we all know how Zenit has been a pain to deal with when it came down to Andrei "babyface" Arshavin...

If Berba comes, great, we will have a complementary 3rd striker to Rooney and Tevez.

But Spurs will have a pair of pretty good Russians...

If the deal falls through, should Sir Alex wait until January or sign a 3rd striker quickly before the end of the transfer window?

Realistically, Benzema, Santa Cruz, and Henry are out of the question, IMO. Huntelaar is too as even Real Madrid are having a hard time negotiating with Van Basten's Ajax...

I see Palacio, Kanoute, Fabiano, Milito even as possible quick buys.

Other suggestions? Thoughts?
