I made that mistake once! Picking TCU isn't the mistake, it's the amphibian thing. I called them that and was reminded that the horned frog is actually a lizard, so it's a reptile kind of like a tiny alligator that lives in the desert.

I do not see signs of Cal D being capable of disrupting USC as thoroughly as Stanford did. Cal can and does score. So, it's likely to be a matter of who scores the most. Also, they are playing in the Coliseum (nod to Oliver Reed). In this contest, I decided to go with the home team. The more astute analysts among you are welcome to predict an upset.

So, to be correct, we should call them the Aroused Gators?

I'm thinking that the SCw coaching staff will have DIRECTLY AND ACUTELY addressed their deficiencies from last week.

The Utes baffle me. They blow out little NoCol, lose to scrappy Utah St (This is like UTK losing to KY last year), and beat BYU in a what-the-heck-was-that finish (BYU's failed FG to tie). Now, they travel to Tempe to play high-flying ASU at home. Mizzou showed how a good defense can throttle back ASU's scoring machine, but, do the Utes have what it takes to pull that off in Tempe?

Again, I decided to go with the home team...

Both have a history of loving the herb a little too much.
