NFL  > Dallas Cowboys  > what home field advantage?
September 23, 2012, 08:55 AM
Since moving into JJ's Palace the Cowboys are a pathetic 14-11 at home. Unlike in the old stadium teams are not afraid of this group. Maybe the accommodations are just too nice? just sayin'!!! We'll see if the trend gets reversed these next two games (Tampa/Chicago).

That's where I got it O but I knew it was pretty bad since they moved into the Palace. I realize a win is a win..but 13 penalties, and a bunch of turnovers?? Good thing Tampa really does suck!!!

I wish I could be that confident, GnG...

Just gotta stop with the penalties!

Its interesting that the media can totally blast a team thats been about .500 in the last 17 years but the Bears, Browns, Steelers, Packers, Giants, Patriots and other winning franchises can play .400 ball for 25-30 years and not hear a word that they suck? So what that Dallas has fallen on hard times. If these are hard, there are millions of nfl fans that will take it. The Steelers went from 1933 to 1971 before they won a division title? We don't know what hard times are. What nfl team has won the most playoff games? Why its the Dallas Cowboys. But we never hear it do we? Stop listening to the media morons who treat owner Jerry Jones like hes the worst around? Really? Who has won more champioships then Jerry since 89 except Kraft? No one. We will win again. Its just the media hopes not.

Haven't been ready the last 2 games?

Dallas got beat in Seattle, period.

Dallas won vs Tampa.

Granted, it was ugly but this team has only 1 problem...

Doug Free.

Once he got that contract 2 years ago...he has not been the same since.

Dallas needs to find a free agent Right Tackle or trade for 1 and bench him.

Romo can not keep getting the pressure he is getting week after week and survive.

2 Fumbles yest due to pressure and many hits, let alone the 4 penalties Free had.

If Free does not block someone, other teams will kill Tony.

Kudos to the D. They are ranked #1 in yards per game and 7th in points allowed.

If that D keeps us in the Top 5 and the Offense comes around, we will be a team to do with.

Do they suck? They nearly beat the Giants? Does Seattle suck? They nearly beat Arizona who beat the Patriots and mauled the Eagles? Dallas fans listen to the media too much. They want you to think the Cowboys will never win anything. If the garbage can franchise like the Saints can win it, we certainly can.

Geesh....you Dallas fans really are brutal. Sometimes I wonder if a little compassion for your team might be in order?.........................NAH

How bout those arizona Cardinals! Nowhere to go but up!

As good an owner as Jerry is... hes not a gm. We have to hope the o line improves by playing together. We can be encouraged by our defense who might be championship level. Maybe the first week Cowboys will come out Monday nite!! One has to be disturbed by the change in Marty B.... it shows me Garrrett is an awful offensive coach.

because we keep hearing the same speech at every post game press conference. we've been hearing about the penalties for years and it still has not been cleaned up. I am glad to see that the Defense is as advertised, which I thought would be the case, but I mentioned on many occasions what a mess the 0-line is going back to training camp and that mess still exists. No way Romo finishes the season if he takes a beating like yesterday. I think Witten is being bothered lots more from his injury than he is letting on. I would like to see them sit him this week with the bye the week after that and get him closer to 100%. He didn't just suddenly forget how to catch a ball in the open field.
