NFL  > General NFL  > Four things about the Hail Mary

I. The Packers player should have knocked the ball out of the back of the end zone instead of trying to pad his stats.

II. Tate's push off (offensive pass interference) not being called had NOTHING to do with the speed of the game. The refs didn't have the guts to make the call.

III. You don't call mutual possession when the receiver wraps his arms around the defenders back.

IV. The NFL doesn't care about the poor officiating, they care about money (TV ratings). If the fans are ignorant, which most are, then they'll keep watching this GARBAGE. The fans could end the lockout by not watching just the 1st half off all games this Sunday. The fans will NOT do it, but they'll complain when their team gets hosed. THE FANS ARE THE PROBLEM (not Goodell or the officials).

The FANS? LMAO I sure didn't foul up the call last night! But I am not sorry the Pekkers ended up losing. too bad it was on a bad call. I saw pass interference as well as it seemed to me that GB had the final possession before the wrestling match for the ball.

if you think the fans skipping out on a few quarters will force the NFL to end this lockout you are confused. the NFL could not are less about what "fans" think about this mess. the fans are the problem, you say. LMFAO.... goodell, the NFL and the officials are not the problem, you say? someone is real confused here....

I. How many games have we seen already this year where the batted ball falls into the offensive players hands? I don't think this was a matter of stats, but there's no way for me to know that (or you).

II. Refs NEVER call PI on a hail mary. Never.

III. Agree

IV. If the NFL doesn't care about poor officiating, do you really think they'll care if we don't watch the 1st half of a game? Really? And you call the Fans ignorant...

Looked like a clean catch by Tate to me. And his hands were just resting on that defender's back when the defender flopped like an NBA player, lunging forward and down to the ground. What's the controversy?

LMAO!

YES, they DO care if we watch the games, their television contracts are based on TV ratings. Poor ratings = less money. The fans are the CONSUMER, and EVERY business would fail if it weren't for the consumer. Your one of the fans I'm referring to.

Goodell and the NFL Owners are trying to force the union officials to cave in to their terms.

I don't need a lesson on supply and demand. All I'm saying it would take a hell of a lot more than the first half of the games on Sunday before they gave a rat's ****.

1. Loyal to whom?, the telvision set?
2. Tolerant of ....? Poor quality, garbage officiating?
3. Competive? Most fans are 100lbs. over weight and think they're competitive over cutting into the hot dog line.
4. Optimistic?, that their boss will not discover how ignorant they are?
