Cowboys offensive line coach Bill Callahan, who also has the title of offensive coordinator, said part of the team's problem with all the false start penalties has been with the cadence of quarterback Tony Romo and everyone along the offensive line getting on the same page.

Just look around at the top qb's in the league and they never have as many false start penalties from their o-lines as this club.

TxHeat, in addition, the elite quarterbacks cause pass rushers to have off-side penalties and neutral zone infractions.

Those qb's seldom have issues at home.

Romo has that Jim Everett feel to him(boy that could be read wrong). He has great games and even good seasons, but it does not seem like it will ever be enough for more than a playoff win here and there.

Romo is much better than Everett but has had to play behind a poor OL. Given decent pass protection I believe Romo can get this team to the Super Bowl.

What would help Romo is if Dez decided to start playing.

if Romo is on his **** for most of the game or running around to avoid the defense doesn't matter who the receivers are.

True.....but it'd be nice to just chuck it up there every now and then and know he is going to come down with it like Calvin Johnson.

While that's a nice thought there are very few players around the league that can do what he does.

Concerning Romo's cadence, Free said something about problems with hearing at the end of the line.
