Maybe someone should ask Joe if he remembers a player named Jack Squirek?
HUH Joe remember him? Doubt any Redskins fans forget.
Google him if you need along with Superbowl XVIII.

Too bad LT didn't break his neck instead of his leg. Theismann is a notorious Cowboy hater, even before he went to ESPN. He is what he is....an idiot.

Tell me this....why does he say "We" instead of "I"? Who are the "We" he is referring to? Sounds to me like he's reading a script that was pre written for him.

Oh yeah, I remember that...........hahahaha.......a good pick 6 for the Raiders, and down about the 15-20 yard line, in 'Skins territory

For those of you too young to know what I am talking about:
Jack Squirek intercepted Joe Bigmouth with SEVEN SECONDS left in the 2nd quarter in SB XVIII.
This very ill advised pass play was run from about the Redskins 20 yard line, so just what was Mr. Bigmouth doing throwing a screen pass that had to go all the way for a touchdown or the half was over from his own 20 yard line? Answer of course he is not all that bright, the play had no chance of any success and gave the Raiders an extra 7 points going into halftime, pretty much ended the game right there.
This happened before the famous broken leg.
Joe should learn not to throw stones when you live in a glass house, dumb puttz.

Yeah a gift from above for the Raiders. I was a huge Raider fan at the time and even I barely ever heard of Jack. Great play on his part, pathetically bad on Joe's part.

Theismann being a Cowboy hater is sort of par for the course though, come on, he played for the Redskins.

Hahahahaha..........I remember that play like it was yesterday.
I posted this same article on some of my Cowboys groups in Facebook. Of course, not many remember him playing, but maybe we can cut down on ESPN's viewership.
The only time I watch ESPN is when there's a football game on.

I know he did, but he's carried that hatred even now, years after retiring.

If it's all the wide receivers' fault, then maybe he should get some new wide receivers
Joe really said that? What an idiot!
QUOTE(#12):
Joe Theisman is a giant deeek. He was a good quarterback who couldn't shut up, and now he's a terrible analyst who can't shut up. He's not very talented, but he has an ego even bigger than his mouth. i'd watch a PPV match between him and LT. Give Joe a $1,000,000, and give LT a couple rails of crank, a few rocks and a case of Bud. That'd be worth a c-note to me.
Hahahahahaha......no doubt.
If this was really Theismann speaking, look for duct tape to be put over his pie hole by ESPN. We can only hope.

Maybe Theisman is having an 80's flashback, he's one to talk about throwing INT's.
A few games ago he said Peyton and Brady were too old. Really? Why does this dopey fool get any ink or airtime? Frickin ridiculous! I have no use for this d&ck!!!

He also said.....
"The word "genius" isn't applicable in football. A
Genius is a guy like Norman Einstein."
