who do the bears play next will determine if this will be a ''trap'' game,..........just like i believe the patriots ''overlooked'' arizona in anticipation of playing baltimore the following week on primetime/tv;.........[m.-op.].

Excactly! Arizona came to play and unfortunately, the Pats did not!

No, he shouldn't be able to, I agree. BUT........he is still a professional athlete, and eventually he MAY get to the point to where he is outstanding. Never know when that one game will be when he does come into his own.
I'm not saying that he ever will, but he just might. Or he may have a really good game when he's "on". I agree with bearsfan....you cannot overlook any team just because they're "not any good". They still have that stubby running back......can't think of his name.............drew something....

Their D looked plenty good on Monday!
That running back's name is Maurice Jones Drew. He is one of the best runningbacks in the NFL. He can carry this team. He and this team reminds me of the Bears with Walter Payton in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Taking someone like this lightly is really something that most Bear fans shouldn't do considering our love for SWEETNESS!!! They will try to run, run, and run some more. Their passing game is not up to NFL standards but might be enough to cause problems especially using the play action pass.
Underestimation is the key. Lovie traditionally has a good record in games as this, but I am still apprehensive. I think the Bears have the ability and skills to win big in this game IF they live up to their potential. I hope we will live up to our potential and win this game convincingly. If so we could be starting on a 5 to 10 game win streak putting us in the playoffs. GO BEARS!!!

I agree the Bears should win this one but "any given Sunday" and this very well could be a classic trap game, never underestimate your opponent. There is no give games in the NFL and as soon as you look past a team or think you got it in the bag is when it usually turns around and bite's you squarely in the arse...........LOL
I would imagine the Bears look to stop MJD and the run and force Gabbert to beat them through the air but the Bears have struggled a little lately stopping the run.

I couldn't think of his name at the time, and I agree with you; he's damn good.
Good luck for the Bears.......My wife's from Illinois and her family are Bears fans, except the older brother. He likes Cincinnati............for some reason. My wife likes the Packers, although she knows NOTHING about them and HATES the game.
I have 3 choices.............well, actually 4. I can become a Bears fan, a Texans fan, a Packers fan or continue with these dysfunctional Cowboys. If this crap with this team continues, not only will they miss the playoffs, but likely have a losing season. I'm beginning to think Jerry Jones is cursed..........hahahahaha

The Texans are 4-0 and in my opinion the best team in the AFC.

I get to watch them every week. They are actually closer to me than the Cowboys are. My son roots for them. Well, I do too, but not when they play the Cowboys. That's always subject to change if the Cowboys continue to be schizophrenic. And embarrassing.
Bandwagoneer? Maybe, but I never thought much of Jerry Jones since he showed up out of the rain, and his selections of coaches is nothing awe inspiring. Including the so called red headed genius.

I think this looks like a trap game but the final score will most likely be 44 to 0 Bears..

I live in Pattison which is located west of Houston. I was a Houston Oilers fan until they became the Tennesee Titans. I now am a loyal Houston Texans fan.

[Cough] Like the Niners overlooked the Vikings..
I think that was a combination of the Vikings being better than thought and the Niners drinking the media's kool-aid.

It happens Duke and why they are called trap games IMO, so long as the team learns from the mistake and it happens early enough it doesn't change the season. It happens every year and why I for one don't usually do score based predictions nor gamble on games........LOL

LOL...........we Bear fans hope for the win but 44 to 0 may be a bit of a stretch, like the thought though.

No way the Bears lose this game. I guarantee victory, GSH.
Thanks for the vote of confidence Ripper we appreciate it/you.
