NFL  > General NFL  > How 'bout them Cardinals?

My guess is this team sinks quickly. They still have a great defense, I do not think that is overrate but this team's offense is just terrible. Kolb is not as bad as he was last year but he is nothing better than a backup. It doesn't really matter who lines up under center though because this o-line is horrendous.

The team still has to face the 49ers twice, Bears-Packers-Falcons and Rams once. That should be an easy 6 loses.

4-7

They also have to face the Vikings and Bills. It is tough to say if the Vikings are for real or not but Jared Allen will be foaming at the mouth to face this o-line. The Bills defense has not been as good as advertised but next week will be the perfect opportunity for these guys to break out. Hard to imagine that Mario Williams, Marcell Dareus, and Mark Anderson won't have an easy time against the o-line. Will chalk these up as another potential 2 losses.

4-9

That leaves the Seahawks, Jets, and Lions. The Cards-Jets will be a matchup of defenses and I'm going to say the Jets have a worse offense so they probably win that game. They beat the Seahawks but in a rematch at this point I think the outcome will be different. The Lions have been terrible but this is a tough call. I'll be nice and give one to the Cards.

I'll go with a 6-10 season for the Cards.

They are certainly not what we thought they were after they beat the Patriots, although recent Cards games just prove the Pats failed to show up for the game.

I agree that the Pats game was a fluke. I still think the Hernandez injury took much more out of them than they let on. Obviously it was not the only issue but it seemed like the offense had not meshed with Daniels yet, Hernandez gets injured, and Welker was rusty.

It always amazes me how things can turn so quickly. The Cardinals looked fantastic and now I can easily see them going 6-10.

A team can get by only for so long with Kevin Kolb as their qb.

Thats the NFC west in a nutshell. Me Rams look good, but the D did cover up a little that Bradford went 7-21! Not good. Even the Niners have their moments. Smith, as far as he has come, still has his "WTF HELP!!" moments. I think its just a matter of time before Flynn becomes the QB in Seattle. Player maker or not, you still have to throw the ball.

They not only lost to the Rams, all they managed is 3 points

No offense to Ram fans they played a great game.

The Rams will be tough to beat at home this year.
