Are you watching the games? Post about it with other FN CFB fans, here. Rants, raves, cheers, jeers, and the usual expressions of fans caught up in the action are welcome. Please, keep it to CFB with the occasional injection of humor or breaking news. For any other topics, there are plenty of message boards and forums from which to choose.

WHY IS THIS BOARD UP SO EARLY?!?!?!?

Well, I've an increasing work load which leaves me less and less time to dawdle on FN. I've a short week at work coming up (this translates into 40+ hours of work in 3 days), and, over the coming long weekend, I'm going to be in an area where a bunch of folks don't even have plain old telephone service, much less that newfangled Internet thing.

You going to Antarctica Tinnie?

October 7, 2012  09:15 AM ET

Yes, I'm going to miss some doozies as we pass the crest of the season and begin the down slope of the season.

TAMU vs LA Tech in Shreveport. Hey Bulldog!

Duke @ VT. The Hokies loss to the Tar Heels doesn't bode well. The BDs will not catch VT complacently off kilter and ripe for being upset at home. Still, my Hope is that Cutcliffe's Dukies find a way to steal victory in Blacksburg.

The Red River shoot out. There will be blood.

SoCar @ LSU. Can the Cockerels take down the Tigers in Baton Rouge?!?!? If the sting of the loss in Gainesville has the expected effect, the unlikely UF should have the inside track to the SECe. Now, who would've guessed that in early September? Nobody.

USC visits UW. Could the canines have two upsets to the PAC world order? Curious minds want to know!

UTK haul into Starkville. Can the Vols ruin Miss State's unblemished season? It's not likely, but then, that's why it looms. Whatever the outcome of the game, hopefully, the city elders, merchants, and residents will have the good sense (and manners) to warmly welcome the Big Orange Caravan. Other fans may travel as well and in as great a number, but none are as easily and good naturedly parted from their money. Only complete idiots do not put down the welcome mat, throw open their doors, and bless the day Vols fans come to town.

The Beavs invade Provo. May they chew down Lavell Edwards Stadium. Buh Bye, BYU.

NW goes to Minnie. May the Gophers grant them "2" in the right-hand column.

Stanford calls upon ND. Expect the usual from Van and some surly smack from some of the other Domers.

Due to FN's unfathomable architecture, the message boards' order is scrambled when the Mods elect to delete or suspend an account of a user posting to the boards. Accordingly, we attempt to bump the currently most active boards back to the top of the lists.

Bump.

Yes, he did. Wild beavers. Young country girls, barefoot and bored, seeing a strange city fellah passing through as a relatively risk-free source of clandestined knowledge and experiences.

Now, castor canadensis are semi-aquatic rodents known to build dams, canals, and lodges. They do gnaw down trees and shrubs to these purposes and for food as well.

Happens all the time... But only in movies that you never watch for more than 10 mins at a time.
