NFL  > San Francisco 49ers  > Niners set franchise records.
October 7, 2012, 10:34 PM
Today the 49ers set a team record of 631 total yards of offense. Also it was the first time they have had a 300 yd passer, 2 100 yd recievers and a 100 yd rusher in the same game. They also set a team record by having 6 different players score a TD. Also it is the first time they have had 300 passing yards and 300 rushing yards in a game.

Hard to imagine an Alex Smith led offense would do that. The Bills defense is way over paid.

79-3 in their last two games. Very ballanced. The loss to the Vikings really pissed them off. Haha

I have to say the '9ers are looking good. Now, if these schizophrenic Cowboys will start playing, maybe we can have some good games like in the past. Regardless of winner.

The operative word is "Balanced ". What a fun easy game to watch, by the middle of the 3rd quarter I had the feeling that every time the 49ers touched the ball it would be for positive yards. I'm glad that Kyle Williams and Anthony Dixon both scored TD's. Some people wanted to get rid of Williams and some figured the 49ers had to much RB depth to hold on to Dixon. Williams came into the 49ers Training Camp and showed the coaches that he was not only more mature mentally but had really done some serious hardcore off season training and wanted to confront his doubters not run away from them. Dixon in his last 2 preseason games told the coaches he would play any position they wanted him to play and declared that if there was to many RB's on the team that he wanted to compete for the position of #2 FB and special teams -- hope both continue to be productive.

The Niners are the most dominant team in the NFL this season.

Go Niners!!!

I was a little miffed that the local stations played the Pats game instead of the Niners game yesterday. I wish they would get more regional here...

How easy it is to forget, those 2 franchises have had some real memorable games.

More please!

You are kind of paranoid aren't you? There is no better word, operative, to describe the 49er offense other than " Balanced ". 311 passing yards and 310 rushing doesn't get any more balanced than that.

You could have used the word " Unbiased ", Naw, probably not part of your vocabulary.

Well. If that was where you were going with that and not pointing out my extra "L", then I owe you an apology.

But, unbiased is certainly not comon among liberals. Or any political pricks for that matter.

Either way, GO NINERS!
