NFL  > General NFL  > Division Leaders: AFC

So the NFL has passed the quarter mark on the season and the divisions are starting to shape up. So 1) Will the division leaders be the same? 2) Picks for the WC teams?

East: Patriots 3-2
North: Ravens 4-1
South: Texans 4/5-0 (I assume they will beat the Jets.)
West: Chargers 4-1 (Looks like they will beat the Saints, either way they are in first)

The Pats will certainly lock up the East. Ever since the the 2nd half of the Buffalo game it looks like they are back on track and more dangerous than ever.
The Ravens are 4-1 but the defense is not the same and the offense is still inconsistent. Still it's hard to imagine the Bengals giving them too many problems and the Steelers continue to falter. (They may want to open a nursing home for their defense on the sidelines).
The Texans will lock up the South, no problem. Titans and Jags are garbage and the Colts look better than advertised but are not ready to take down a dominant Houston team. It looks like these guys could meet the Pats in the AFC Championship game.
The Chargers might be the only team to lose control of the division lead. I'm not convinced the Chargers record is as good as they are. The Broncos are 2-3 but they have looked really good and continue to get better. Not to mention they have had a tough schedule facing the Falcons, Texans, and Pats. Each of those games were in their reach. The rest of the schedule is much favorable for the Broncos so they certainly have the chance and look like a team that could take down the Chargers.

WC: Colts and Chargers/Broncos - Honestly the Dolphins and Bengals look to be the only other teams that could make a run at this which is absolutely surprising. If the Chargers or Broncos don't win the division one of them should lock up a WC spot. The Bills and Jets are both terrible and it is only a matter of time before the Jets record reflects that. The Dolphins have looked surprisingly good but I'm not sure about WC good. The Bengals are the only team that could win it from the North but they are -4 in Net points. (Steelers are toast in my opinion.) Jags, Titans, Raiders, or Chiefs aren't going anywhere which leaves the Colts as the only other contender.
