Your right it is not 'his' fault the media go ga ga over him.
It is our fault folks, we watch ESPN news, we click on Tebow links at websites but WAIT A MINUTE.
It is NOT our fault, it is the NON FOOTBALL FANS that find this guy interesting and that is why he gets 'hits' all day long on website links.
We know better, he is just a one trick pony.
Last night after Sanchez made a nice pass that got the Jets down to the red zone, they could have hurried up, got the Texans D on their heels and possibly scored a TD. Instead, there was confusion - both Sanchez and Tebow were in and they didn't know what was going on. They had to call a time out and ended up scoring a field goal.
If the coaches can't see how it ruins momentum, then they never will.

Please Retire!!!!!!!!!I was just watching First Take and had to turn it off because I threw up in my mouth. They were seriously going on about how the Jets should put in Tebow because he made that one nice pass to Hill that was dropped to start the second half. I mean really, they were going on about this one nice pass as if he had just thrown 5 straight TDs in one game.Tebow can throw an occasional pass that looks good, (Broncos Steelers OT) but the problem is, the other 95% are horrible. I seriously have no idea why the media continues to go on about Tebow like he could be the savior of the Jets. As a QB he is just a gimmick, and as the Patriots showed us, gimmicks can be stopped. If anything his presence on the Jets has hurt them. There is so much confusion on that offense because he is on the team, neither Sanchez or Tebow can get any sort of rhythm going because neither one knows what could happen next.I don't hate Tebow, it is not his fault. But he needs to accept the fact that he is not an NFL QB and that NFL fans will go insane if we have to continue hearing about him becoming the starting QB for another 10 years. Please Tebow, just retire!
You take this game way too seriously dude.

I thought exactly the same thing LIHI, a momentum changer and I couldn't imagine why the coaches would take the momentum away from their own offense. Tempo is crucial to an offense especially the Q.B. and swapping Q.B.'s in and out absolutely kill any temp a Q.B. may have established up to that point.
Sanchez is not the answer at QB. It can't hurt to start Tebow after the way he rallied the Broncos to the 2011 playoffs. If the Jets stick with Sanchez they won't even sniff the playoffs.

but really...if you look at his stats they are pretty dreadful. I believe there was a game against KC that he completed 2 passes in a win. typically that won't get the job done.

You are right. The old saying "nothing ventured, nothing gained" applies here.

Sanchez is not the answer. He gets worse every game. Give Tebow a shot. I saw how he rallied the Broncos. The Jets need all the help they can get. Tebow Time!!!!!

2-13 in a win, or 14-31 in a loss?
However....... Can't really compare the two circumstances in my opinion. The Broncos had an established running game that Tebow was able to open up even more and a much more respectable defense. And the Jets just DON'T have jack!
So the only answer for the Jets would be to revamp their O-Line, draft or sign a decent RB. Draft or sign a decent QB, draft or sign some decent pass rushers, draft or sign some DBs not named Revis. and build a better receiving corps. That's all they got to do to be better.
Oh yeah, fire fat cheeks!

NOOOO he makes new conferences fun to watch, come on you gotta love a coach with a foot fetish.
John Waters saw the humor and used it in a totally forgettable film, Polyester, even named the dumb kid with the foot fetish 'Dexter', gotta love that, 25 years before Dexter became America's favorite serial killer.
Of course John is one strange person.
Rex at a news conference makes it watchable, never know what he'll say.
Your not secretly a Jets fan are you Duke? (kidding) If they were to get a good coach they might win.
