Thursday, 10/25/12, Clemson at Wake Forest.

Friday, 10/26/12, Nevada @ USAFA and Cinci @ Louisville.

Anyone want to take a stab at analyzing the early games?

A pet peeve of mine... is there an Alaska State? Yeah, I know you mean AR State...

Cinci @ Louisville looks like the cream of the early schedule. Two good teams. All the others have blowout written all over them. Home field is the only reason to pick Louisville for the win IMO.

Hows it goin Tin Man, IMO Alabama is going to use Miss ST as an example to the rest of the college world that continues to doubt them and theyre strength of schedule, and Notre Dame is going to norman and i do not believe they are going to get it done this weekend, IMO K State will beat Tex Tech in a close one, Louiville and Cincy will be a one point game either way..... thats my opinion

No need to...your post are informative. thoughtful, objective and humorous. I enjoy them...but my vocabulation isn't too good so I have to visit a dictionary sometimes to "get" the humor.

I disagree......there is a micro-brewer in Akron that makes a beer called "Old Leghumper" that is very good.

The Capons will self-destruct on Saturday, losing to the Vols. The OVT will get so riled, he will actually toss his visor. This direct violation of the terms of his contract will require him to stand for reveiw, as the SoCar PTB contemplate his fate.

ArkState overwhelmed UL-Laf last night. At the half, it was 26 - 7. I cashed in my chips at that point. While everyone is somewhat familiar with the story of AR State's HC, it's the other guy who needs a bit of introduction, here.

Mark Hudspeth played at Delta State (Fighting Okra!). From playing, he went directly into coaching - GA @ Central AR, WR/TE/RB @ Nichols State, a 2-yr stint at Winston Academy, DBs @ Central AR, OC @ Delta State, OC @ Navy, HC @ N. AL, WRs @ Miss State, and HC @ UL-Laf last year and this. In 2011, he led UL-Laf to an 8-4 record and a NO Bowl victory (1st Bowl appearance in 41 years).

Why are we reveiwing Mark Hudspeth's football history? Because some have named him a candidate for UTK HC if/when Dooley moves on...

AP....read in the local fish wrap tOSU is very close to reaching a deal with SDSU to play in '13 and/or '14. Thoughts?

Home and home sounds odd, but would be fun if it comes to be. SDSU has recruited fairly well the last two years and would be able to at least go down swinging. Main thing for SDSU against bigger teams is to not get hurt before the BE schedule though.

Dont underestimate the Demon Deacons, the Irish only beat em 24-17 last season at Salem's Lot.
Got em at ND stadium this Nov 17th thank God.

I keep pacing the van in anticipation of the GAME this Saturday night.
