NFL  > Arizona Cardinals  > WEEK #8 PICKS
October 23, 2012, 06:49 PM
Thursday 10/25/12

buccaneers @ VIKINGS- The creams-sickles get creamed by the grape-men.

Sunday 10/28/12

CHARGERS @ browns- After hiding in shame for a week the Chargers are ready for some Brownies to kick around.

colts @ TITANS - Titans keep rolling after their win against Bills

PATRIOTS @ rams- No home field advantage when you play in London. If anything New England gets the advantage of playing in Old England.

dolphins @ JETS- This could be close. Home field advantage - Jets

jaguars @ PACKERS- Lambeau leaps a plenty

falcons @ EAGLES- Both teams coming off a BYE WEEK. Home field do-or-die for the Eagles in the upset.

REDSKINS @ steelers- RG3 will win this with his legs not his arm.

SEAHAWKS @ lions- Both are licking wounds from divisional loses. Lions just didn't look good against Chicago. Besides the Seattle team is getting all kinds of breaks from the refs, hard to have a passing game when the refs won't call holding on the Seattle secondary.

panthers @ BEARS- Riveras hot seat will be a lot hotter after this game.

RAIDERS @ chiefs - the worst of the worst games this week, I watched Raider fans that had lost confidence in their offense and were rooting for penalties against the Jaguars as the only way they felt they could win. Luckily for them they got the calls.

GIANTS @ cowboys- If the Cowboys can't beat the Giants at home they won't beat Atlanta and Philadelphia on the road following this game and by then the Window on this season will be closed, although coaches and players won't be fired right away this will be the straw that gets them fired at the end of the season.

SAINTS @ broncos- Although Denver is coming off of a BYE WEEK and has home field advantage. I just don't see Brees giving the game away like Rivers did.

Monday 10/29/12

49ERS @ cardinals- 49ers need this game to remain undefeated in the NFC West and to gain separation from the rest of the NFC West.

I pick the Colts to beat the Titans.

Giants is a sure pick. Cowboys have played 5 sorry games in a row. The only quality game was the first game of the season against NY. I don't see them playing that well. Giants weren't ready in game 1 but they are now.

The Cowboys are 3-3 despite playing below average.

Wow, are you kidding me? I don't think Green Bay will win by more than 3 touchdowns.

I had a hard time picking this game. I don't know how many times I tossed the coin so I gave it to the Home Team.

THe teams in capitals are my picks, in this game I pick the RAIDERS. After this game I think K.C. will trade some players before the deadline.

Like I said it was really pathetic to watch these Raider fans give up hope that their offense could move them down field without the aid of penalties. THe AFC West is the worst division in Football and the Raiders and Chiefs are the worst in their division. Atlanta has played all 4 teams from the AFC West and beaten them all. The AFC West are 1-6 vs the NFC South, and they are collectively 4-5 against other AFC teams.

What's your record so far, narrator?

Week # 6 was my worst week I was 4-10. That is why I called it an aberration ( Way to many upsets for one week )

Overall I am 72-32= ( 4.5 loses per week ) , if you take away the dreadful week #6, I am 68-22= 3.6 loses per week. Week #5 I was 11-3 , Week #6 I was 4-10 and last week #7 I was 10-3. Last week the games I got wrong were, I took the Redskins over the Giants, Bills over the Titans, and Bengals over the Steelers.

Are you a Colts fan? Who do you think will have a better winning record at the end of the season; The Colts with Andrew Luck, or Washington with RG3?

Luck and Colts are 3-3, He has thrown for 1674 yards, 7 TD's, 7 INT's, QB rating of 72.3

RG3 and the Redskins are 3-4, He has thrown for 1601 yards, 7 TD's, 3 INT's, QB rating of 101.8

Luck has thrown the ball an average of 10 more times a game than RG3 has and he has played in one less game. At the beginning of the season I felt strongly that RG3 would have a better year because he is on a better team, the only team they have both played is Minnesota Vikings they both hosted the Vikings and they both beat the Vikings . Right now I'd say it is up for grabs as to which one will have the better Rookie Season.

A rivalry game is never a sure thing.

The Giants are very comfortable playing here. It's like a home game for them. They are 3-0 since the new stadium opened.

The Bengals will not lose !! on Sunday, It's true!

Shelly, I'm confident the Packers will win this game myself but 55 to 9 seems unrealistic.
