JJ has apparently forgotten the first rule of the path to the Super Bowl. Win enough games to get into the playoffs. Ok..I don't see that happening. Losing Sean Lee is devastating. Not that they really had a chance anyway, but now they are scrambling with spare parts and putting people in positions they have never played.

there's a good chance dallas finishes .500 or worse this year and when that happens it seems maybe JJ does some house cleaning. he's been saying all year the window is closing, this is the year, etc. if he still thinks this is a potential SB team, that should change after sunday. a new, real HC is the first step in turning this team around. if we get another unknown HC we are not changing the current course.

I still say JJ and Gruden could work together and Gruden did take Tampa to and win a Superbowl and surely would be better than Jason.

I know from several articles I've read recently that Gruden wants back into coaching in the worst way and would covet coaching the Cowboys, it's all up to JJ at this point IMO.

Gruden compared Romo to John Wayne, saying Romo was the "toughest Cowboy they have in Texas. At the end of the night, Tony Romo gets more done on his own than any quarterback in pro football,"

Seriously though Google Gruden Cowboys and read all the articles, I am positive Gruden would jump at the chance to coach the Cowboys and it's all up to JJ IMO.

I don't know how it would work out but I do think Gruden would get the more out of them than Wade or Garret has to this point and I know Cowher is out of the question as I surely don't see JJ and Cowher compromising on anything.........LOL

I'm not familiar enough with JJ though to know or even speculate which direction he would head in when selecting a new coach if it comes down to that.

Gruden worked with Al Davis who was known as a meddler and I think he could work with Jones too.
