I believe the coaches will go before the players, Then the new GM's come in or coach and then make the appropriate adjustments, **** always rolls down hill!
Vick is whiny baby who can't get rid of the football on time and runs too much for his age! Good riddens Punkassbitch!

That's the problem... you don't "get" someone unless you decide you are officially in rebuilding mode.
And I don't think Jerry can accept the fact that this team needs to rebuild.

They need to draft someone very soon. Romo has a year left and it's time to say Adios MoFo!

Clearly they do! they have about 6-8 top level guys but other than that they are all very expendable. Especially the coaching staff.
Really Tony Romo doesn't deserve to be thrown into this conversation. He's having a bad year. But he's still among the best 16 QBs in the league. I think Dallas would be hard-pressed to find an immediate upgrade.

I have to agree, I think Sanchez would be the first and have to wonder when the Jets pull the plug and declare Tebow time.
If some of the Cowboys fans clamoring for a change want to see what life would be like without Romo all they need to do is insert Orton for a few games. :)

They won't find any upgrade. Should Romo leave, or retire, then you have Orton, who's not really that bad, BUT the fact is, JJ thinks he's going to strike it rich with these "gems" in later rounds, or undrafted free agents. Occasionally, that will happen, but it's always a long shot.

I don't think Staubach or Bradshaw in their prime could make it on this team now, not with the O line as it is.

And, the receivers dropping passes like Bryant does.

Agreed a shaky O-line and no help from the W.R's with the exception of Witten, Dez is to inconsistent and I'm not sure what Austin's problem is but he's certainly not a #1 W.R.
I bet Peyton Manning got a job next year if he wants!

Seems like when Romo is looking for Austin, he (Romo) is getting pressure, and overthrows or underthrows him a lot of times. They seldom roll Romo out anymore, and that's one of his strengths, IMO. Playcalling leaves a lot to be desired.
They should have paid Laurent Robinson and kept him in the fold, but nooooooooo, JJ knows better.

agree, the HC jobs are likely to see changes before these QBs. hoping for change in dallas, badly. if there was a solution for romo, would be great. it's just that there aren't any at this time. but still feel romo will NEVER take this team anywhere. JJ needs to rebuild this team, but lacks the skills to select the right players. we are stuck in .500 ball hell. so romo is still "top 16 QBs.... LOL. used to see where he was top 5, then top 10 and now it's top 16. so basically, he's a spot above the bottom half. can't wait to see where he is by end of season .

I also agree on the play calling selection, need to have a run game established in order for those play action passes to work and Romo is or used to be known for rolling out and being accurate.
I'm afraid you Cowboy fans are stuck with J.J. and IMO that's where the biggest problem lay's.

.500 is too high!!! Find 5 wins on that schedule.
