No offense to you Cards fans but I am so impressed with the Niners again this year!

The Niners looked almost unbeatable against the Cardinals. If they continue to play like this they will be Super Bowl Champions. Of course it is only the halfway point in the season and strange things can happen. The Packers looked unbeatable last season and then were one and done in the playoffs.

harbaugh v harbaugh still possible...lol

I can't believe more people aren't in this thread....the NINERS deserve all the praise they are getting.

Watching that game last night was really a waste of time. The 49ers just simply outplayed the Cards on every level. There was no doubt about the outcome of the game after the 1st quarter.
The 49ers did not play lazy they deserve big-time credit for that, all that money they put out for their coach was money well spent.

Man it must really blow to be a Cards fan, they start the season 4-0 and now are 4-4, adding all the previous years of being mediocre must have fans really frustrated.

the cards ''had'' their superbowl a few weeks ago up in new england,.........they must be ~suffering~ from a superbowl hangover these last few weeks ?

The Niners and Giants are the two best teams in the NFC.

They should only be offended by their own teams performance last night.

Howdy Sweets! Not sure where the Niners stand as far as the best of the best. But they have looked like the hands down best team one dayy, to being beatable the next.

I am incredibly impressed with what Harbaugh has done with this team in just 2 years. They play as a TEAM cohesively without any of the "Me's" coming out. Even Randy Moss...

Halfway through the season, the Niners are my pick for the NFC champs and the SB.

The defense was stellar as they usually are. Really, AZ, only 7 total yards rushing? Niners D is great but 7 yards?, I was most impressed with Alex Smith and Crabtree. Never thought I'd say that about Crabtree, who I thought might be a career underachiever but who seems to be doing very well. Smith was 18 for 19 with 3 TDs, and the only incompletion was a dropped pass by a wide open receiver. It was ball control the whole way, with not much thrown down field, but Smith looked incredible. He was releasing the ball quickly with pinpoint precision all night. As for Crabtree, I am impressed because of who he beat all night. Patrick Peterson is supposed to be the best young CB in the NFL, and one of the best overall. Crabtree beat him quite a few times, twice for TDs.Impressive win by the Niners. Congrats, Duke. At least one team in CA has a winning record.

That was not the best overall game Crabtree has had, but it was by far the most electrifying he has looked. Great catch for his first TD, big time catch and run on 3rd and 23 to get it to 4th and 2 that led to a FG, and then a great read on his defender for his 2nd TD.

And the 7 yards rushing really pisses me off. They had -5 until Skelton avoided a sack and gained 1 yard. And then at the end they gave up an 11 yard run.. I was wanting a negative yard performance. Haha

Harbaugh should be praised in SF. I have always questioned how much coaching was the deciding factor on how teams perform. But he took a team that had little respect to the championship game his first year. Very impressive.

And I hope your prediction is right. Been a long time.

I hate him for that.

Hey Nerb!

Been quite awhile! Howya been?

November 1, 2012  10:27 PM ET

Was just thinking. The las 5 games for the Niners....

34-0 vs NYJ

45-3 vs BUF

3-26 vs NYG

13-6 vs SEA

24-3 vs ARI

That's a 71 point difference while having lost a game by 23. Hopefully we get a rematch vs NYG in NJ!

The 49ers set the blueprints for teams to beat Arizona. Arizona has no running game. The 49ers held the Arizona leading rusher to 7 yards on 9 carries. Then all you have to do is keep lots of pressure on Skelton and you take Fitzgerald out of the game, make sure you keep the ball out of Petersons hands on punt returns- and as long as you have an offense that can score a few points you should win.
