We have a Tuesday night game, 11/6/12 - Ball State (6-3) visits Toledo (7-1). Will the offensive power of the pointy-headed red birds brteak the Glass Bowl? Or, will the Rockets red glare leave 'em blinded and awestruck?

It promises to be a good 'un tomorrow night!

Sure is nice to be able to watch just 1 game without having to flip channels every 30 secs.

Ball State up early after easily moving the ball against huge holes in the Rocket's secondary.

One thing I'll give the Mid-American Conference: they're not afraid to schedule/play football on odd nights of the week. This gets them a captive audience of rabid CFB fans and really improves their public exposure. I'd argue that the MAC is a lot more exciting to watch this season than the bulk of the B1G's slate of conference games. For TM's Adipose 12: "Don't look back. Something might be gaining on you." ---Satchel Paige

that creates issues for some teams.....for instance, Ohio University plays a game this Thursday, making it their third game in 12 days. How'd you like to prepare (and travel) for 3 different teams with that little rest!!

Hopefully Toledo enjoyed its brief stint as a 'ranked' team because Ball State just shot the Rocket's dream season all to heck.

Yes, I do believe that many of the FN CFB regulars have a minus 1 to start the tallies of their weekly picks. It's easy to become enamoured of the Rockets when viewing them from a distance. Toledo was brought down to earth by their own mistakes as much as by their opponent's improvement on D. Chins up, Rockets. Finish your season strong.

Tonight, the Ohio Bobcats host Bowling Green. Ohio last played 11/1/12. They defeated E. Mich. in Athens, 45-14. Anyone care to break down the match-up?

I'm betting it's a game time decision, and he only plays if they REALLY need him (like TCU winning in the 4th). They need him healthy by 12/1 for Texas, and whatever bowl. But "whatever" bowl isn't near as sweet if you lose to TCU.

But I could be wrong...

November 7, 2012  11:12 PM ET

That'll about do it in Athens.
Bowling Green was a little too much for Ohio.

November 7, 2012  11:40 PM ET

But who cares.
The game had no impact whatsoever on who's ranked #1 and #2.
And that's what's really important.

Right?
