But to your question: If Collin Klein can stay healthy, and if Kansas State can win out their season against Baylor and UTx (w/ halftime lead of 23-0 over TCU), then I think the Wildcats would be a worthy candidate in the NCG. I'd also like Bill Snyder to win the big one to top off hs coaching career. As to their opponent, I'm guessing the computers and pundits will choose Oregon. JMO.
Well said i completely agree

Don't think many would argue against this...
Exposed Bama a bit...but I think TAMU is very good...esp with Johnny Manziel. Be interesting to see how good they are after those two tackles leave tho.....
I watched both Bama and TAMU play State...Bama was methodical and disciplined in their game...it was an awesome display. Then TAMU comes in with their Chaos play...evidently Chaos overrules methodical...at least in football on this day.

Agree here, as long as they win out. And if both Oregon and ND win out, it will go to Oregon on SOS for the full year.
The Bama loss is not all that shocking when you look at their schedule, the close win over LSU last week, and the momentum that aTm had coming into today's game.
Yes, today was definately not a day for a hang over
Thank you so much A&M ... you'll never know how HUGE of a favor you did my knocking off Alabama ... Gig' Em Aggies!!!!
QUOTE(#1):
To quote (and this has been attributed to both Darrell Royal and Woody Hayes):
"Three things can happen on a forward pass, and two of them are bad."
Did you know ....
Alabama had more passing yards than A&M?
309 to 253
Alabama had more total yards than A&M?
431 to 418
A&M had more rushing yards than Alabama?
165 to 122
A&M held the ball for 5 more minutes than Alabama?
BCS. Going in, Bama's ranking was .9957. Those closest in rank are KSU at .9318 and Oregon at .9166. ND is in the drag at .9050. Will the combination of Bama's los to TAMU, KSU's victory over TCU, Oregon's pasting of Cal, and ND's uninspiring victory over hapless BC drop Bama below the #2 spot? If so, how far will they drop? How much must they make up to rise into BCS contention? What do the remaining games (including CCGs) on schedules tell us of the probabilities?

I am quite sure that two of the three (Oregon, Kansas St, Notre Dame) would have to lose before Bama could make it back in the top 2.
I don't think even big ol bad ol ESPN can change that. sarcasm intended
Oh there's still some very important games to be played before we start all this hair pulling and jumping about. Very pleased with progress thus far.
GO IRISH !!!

1. Yesterday's game proved that no matter how good you are, when you play a ranked team you can get beat. Oregon still has 2 games vs Stanford and OreSt, plus a CCG vs either USC or UCLA; all ranked teams. KState still has one ranked opponent (Tex) and ND has one (USC), but no CCG for either. 2 or even 3 of the unbeatens could easily stumble and put the 1-loss SEC champ in the title game. Lots of football still to be played.
2. Watching the game I couldn't help but think that Manziel would be a shoo-in for the Heisman if he had McCarron's O-line.
With Bama losing yesterday, I think it's safe to say that Spurrier is an idiot.

Don't church it up. The simple truth will do.

Agree CR. I'm not sure Bama was battle tested enough prior to yesterday. Thought they were sucking air early and never did get recover totally. They struggle to win games when they can't "out physical" people. Think the agnuts proved there is such a thing as "physical" teams that run the spread/wide open offenses.
