This is a post out of curiousity. Who is your favorite current American player, whether or not they play here or abroad or if they play for the USMNT. Why are they your favorite player?

The US system, I think is hard to really follow, given most of the higher quality players go over seas, and those that stay are lost in the obscurity of a nation largely ambivalent about the game.

There is a thread here about favorite players, but that is dominated by world players, and very little about Americans.

So, share your thoughts...
