Yes it was a hard fought game with both teams playing great defense. I'm confident the Texans will be in the Super Bowl and I'm sure the Bears also have a good shot at it too.

It looked like a survival contest with Houston prevailing at the end.

If they give Campbell reps all week with the 1st team he should preform a lot better than last night. Heard they are thinking of getting Josh McNown again, personally I'd rather have Campbell any day.

Your remark about playoff positioning has me thinking lately, looking back at the last 10 years it seems only 1 team got to and won a superbowl with home field throughout the playoffs, (N.E.).

So there could be a bright side to losing, although it would not be a trip to G.B. in January, but Frisco is nice year round.

It might have been different if Cutler hadn't been injured.

Many NFL teams have lost their starting QB but have still managed to win. The Bears had been extremely fortunate until Cutler was injured.

He got blasted by Houston Texans LB Tim Robbins, but Cutler played for seven plays after that, and was not allowed to play the second half...Robbins was fines $30,000 for the hit...but it is part of the game.

I think something needs to be done about illegal hits on QBs. I know this will be controversial, but I would like to see a team's starting QB to be held out for as long as the QB who was injured is out. It would only be for illegal hits! This is something that I have been thinking of since Jim McMahon was hurt against the Packers in 1987??? Anyways what do you think? GO BEARS!!!

This should be true. If you think about it Jason might be better than any QB on Sf's roster! Add in the FACT that our special teams should be better than theirs and we might just have a good chance to win this one. We most certainly need it for the playoff race/positioning. GO BEARS!!!

Campbell has more mobility than Cutler.

We shall see now if Campbell was worth what the Bears gave him, with a week of practice under his belt he should be prepared and show better than he did in the second half of the Texans game.
