All you needed was to keep the Sugar Bowl the way it was. SEC Champ vs whoever you thought was worthy. If you keep having All-SEC championships, all you get is incest.
Play 3 non-conference scrubs and a FCS school. You're 4-0.
Say things like "hardest conference in America.???
Circle jerk.
Repeat.

Need to look at facts Dr instead of your bias.

That was funny? Somehow not getting that feeling.

I think is point is that the Dr. is perhaps the most biased person that inhabits these boards.
I rather like the SEC.
But ripping on Notre Dame's schedule while Alabama was loading up on Western Carolina, Western Kentucky, and Florida Atlantic sounds like a pretty gross double standard to me.

It is. The OP is unrecognizable to me and could be considered a troll.

Well for the teams in play:
tSUN is decent and the rest of Bama's OOC is a joke. For them apparently it doesn't matter that ARK and Auburn are horrible this year either (and they got the weaker SEC east teams too). SDSU would probably finish 6-6 or 7-5 with Bama's schedule this year.
UF has FSU as the big OOC game.
UGA has a weak GT as the OOC highlight, Georgia Southern is probably about the same level of competition this year as GT.
LSU beat up a decent UW team.
SCAR has Clemson to go.
So other than UGA every top SEC team does play at least one good OOC team. The SB and FCS teams are pretty objectionable though, particularly since they all end up being home games.

Didn't think you would.

Not really....usually the Dr is very astute in his observations on the CFB scene...he, as well as many others on here, seemed to have developed a bias against the SEC.

But, to explain to you, and the others before you jump in,...the good Dr and I have had other conversations in the past and I think he understands that I am not bashing him in the least...just presenting an argument to him with a little jab.
I thought we all were able to "jab" each other from time to time...

This should have gone to post 5....sorry for any confusion.

I like jabbing. Jabbing is my main mode of communication. But by your reaction, you seem intolerant of the jabbing of others - or do we have a deeper problem I'm unaware of?

I apologize...at one point you seemed to be on the side with the group that has accused me of being mean, intolerant and rude...and I was reading your comment in that world.
When you made that comment I did the one thing that I would wish others would do and that is not read thru my eyes but to filter it thru the possibilities that one could be joking or jabbing.
If you were joking or picking at me, then I apologize and will try to remember that in the future.
For the record, I enjoying the jabs and picks of others, either toward other posters or towards me...but sometimes mine get taken the wrong way and I get slammed...so I guess I am a little defensive. but it's all good now.

Yeah, we're good. I remember a long time ago making jabs at all the ROFLMAO's, and the above jab was in that vein. I'll try to let that go.
Just think how it would shake if Ohio State took their bowl ban last season when they reaaly should have.

+1. Posts like this are why peeps hate the SEC, that and nose-up-the-SEC-butt ESPN "analysts". There are a couple 3 good teams at the top, probably as good as any in the country, but not of the dominating nature as some would have us believe.
There are NO GREAT TEAMS THIS YEAR. And I'm including all of FBS, not just the SEC.
Seeing as my predictions allways come out Bassackwards, I predicted USC beats ND and a 2 SEC team BCS NC again. I really believe it too, but a USC win will be bittersweet, knocking Van and ND out of it.
BTW, even tho I feel O is one of the best 2 teams in the country, I'll not be a hyppocrite. They didn't win the PAC, they don't deserve to be in the BCS NCG, simple as that. But I think one SEC team, at the most (the SEC winner, whoever they are), deserve a shot. Not everyone agrees, but that's my opinion.
I also feel like picking the 2 this year is just a crap-shoot if you discount conference champs as a selection methodology, and if you end up with a buncha 1 loss teams. Gonna be a sucky game with more deserving teams left out than get in, and possibly an undeserving conference loser getting in. The 'NEW' playoff method of picking teams will be bigger, but no better.
That's my story and I'm sticking with it!
