George doesn't need to fight Anderson Silva. Silva would be too big and have a long reach. Silva should challenge Jon Jones and then retire.

I wonder if Dana is pushing GSP-Silva so hard because he doesn't trust Jones to play ball (see UFC 151)? We all know that Bones-Silva is the better, more evenly matched fight but GSP is a company man through and through. He would probably do all the promo work and take less money; while Jones would be Jones and it would be a lot more work.

I prefer to see GSP fighting Hendricks and the Spider fighting Weidman.

In a perfect UFC...

I just saw that Weidman is hurt and Phillipou is fighting Boetch (sp?) now. So that title shot against Silva probably just faded even further into the fog.

Good I am glad I am not the only who thinks this. I think George would use his wrestling against Hendricks. I don't remember but didn't Rick Story use his wrestling to beat Hendricks?

Of course Georges needs to fight Anderson Silva! How many peons do these two need to squash before people realize they need to fight each other?

"Hendricks is a contender man, he could beat GSP." No, he can't. The only WW in the world with evan a snowballs chance in hell is Nick Diaz. Georges is a better striker than Hendricks, a better wrestler, better BJJ. Watching him school him for 44.95 is not my cup of tea.

"But Chris Weidman beat Mark Munoz man. He can beat Anderson." No, he can't. His BJJ is not better than Anderson, and I don't care how he looked against Munoz or Lawlor or any other lower top 10 middleweights. He has no shot in that fight, especially over 5 rounds. Anderson may drop a few rounds even, but he won't get finished and eventually he will KO an exhausted Weidman late in the fight.

How many times will people get fleeced into watching these two smash their inferior competition? Yeah, there is a whole 15 pounds between these two, so what? George is stronger than Anderson anyway, and you can take that to the bank. Put a bar in front of them and who do you think would deadlift or squat more? The answer is GSP.

Should Nog have never fought Fedor? There was 10-15 pounds of muscle there for sure between those two. If that 10-15 pounds was the be all end all then Carwin would be the HW king and Gleison Tibau would never lose a fight at 155.

Can we come out of this fantasy world where Johny Hendricks can beat the best WW of all time and 15 pounds keeps the two best pound for pound fighters from fighting each other?
