NFL  > Chicago Bears  > Fire Webb

He looked like a worthless fatbody tonight. Aldon made him look small.

Agreed.

I'm still wondering why Lovie and Phil Emery failed to do anything with that O-line in the off-season.

It was no secret that it's the team's most glaring weak spot.

Congrats on the win by the way. Kaepernick has skills (to say the least), and the 9ers should easily be on the short list of best teams in the league.

November 19, 2012  11:46 PM ET

I was not trying to be negative towards the Bears. To be clear, I respect the Bears and just spoke of what I saw. Webb is worthless.

I think he is our future. If he hangs around long enough.

It's all good. I inferred no negativity toward the Bears. That whole O-line stinks.

Kaepernick is going to get a lot of attention when he becomes a free agent. With Smith just signing that contract extension, it could make things interesting a season or two from now.

That was a fire worthy performance if I have ever seen one. He is far too big to be abused like that. I feel bad for Cutler and whoever replaces him.

That's my concern. I am a big Smith supporter just for his loyalty and his nature to sacrifice for his team. But I think Kaeperneck gives us a down field threat we haven't had since, well. Garcia.

He has 2 -3 years left on his rookie contract and he will be re-signed, that you can be sure of. What many people don't know about this game is that during the week Alex Smith took most of the snaps during practice which led everyone to believe that he would be OK'd by a doctor. Kaepernick even thought Smith was going to start.

kaepernick to the eagles [when his contract runs out ?],............he's pretty good !

November 20, 2012  06:25 AM ET

Sadly Webb is NOT the ONLY problem on the Bears O-Line. Even our BEST player RT Carimi was obvously not able to stop anyone! I really would not be suprised to see EVERYONE replaced!!!

So what do the Bears do? Replace everyone? When that question is asked usually the Coaches go first. I've called for the replacement of Lovie before, but this time Tice has to be consicidered to be the first target. No doubts about it Phil Emery is going to have a very busy off season.

Lastly and sadly, I worry that Urlacher might just call it quits after this season. GO BEARS!!!

One game should never make an NFL contract. I know it does, but I don't think it should. GO BEARS!!!

Congrats Duke and all Niner fans that was a good old fashioned arse whoopin, the Bears are not yet ready to run with the big dogs.

Agreed and what most of us Bear fans have been saying all season long, starting with with Webb most of the O-Line stinks but last nine as a group the were dominated.

Webb spends more time on twitter bragging himself up to his make believe JWebb nation fans than he does proving what himself on the field. If he played even half what he brags himself up to be he would be great in his own eyes.

Emery has his work cut out for him with several high profile players contracts to negotiate, one reason why I mentioned I hoped Emery is a good cap GM.

QB Jason Campbell.
WR Johnny Knox.
WR Devin Thomas.
OG Chris Spencer.
DL Nate Collins.
DL Israel Idonije.
DL Henry Melton.
LB Geno Hayes.
LB Nick Roach.
LB Brian Urlacher.
CB Kelvin Hayden.

I wouldn't get too high on this guy. That great 49er's OL would make any QB look good.

The Bears may "not" be ready to run with the big dogs, as you say, but the Cowboys are still pooping like puppies, even after beating the Browns. If you could call it a "beating".

would have expected a comment like that from you after your team had their **** handed to them.

I would call it a GIFT they received.
